The National September 11 Memorial and Museum
Annual Benefit Dinner

Event Branding | Creative Direction | Invitation | Tribute Program Book | Event Accessories

When the National September 11 Memorial and Museum brought us on in 2010, the organization wanted to create an event experience that would extend its mission in an experiential way. Our solution centered on a minimalist approach to the invitation design featuring a stark white cover with blind embossing and two die cuts that represent the Twin Towers. The negative space they frame proved to have tremendous evocative power. The visual concept has also proven to be a highly efficient vehicle for ongoing communications. After a decade and counting, each year’s new interpretation of the design remains true to the organization’s mission while highlighting a new priority.
