In a manner of speaking, Conservation International leaves no stone unturned: The sheer sweep of the organization’s initiatives makes summing up its story a real challenge. For Leaving No Stone Unturned, the annual gala celebrating Conservation International’s global impact, working together with gala chair, Gillian Wynn, Marc Friedland bypassed the challenge by turning to the evocative power of nature itself. The result was an event that was chic, stylish and moving in an organic, seemingly effortless way. From the spiral of rocks embossed on the invitation to the botanical sculptures that reshaped the event space, natural forms elevated every touchpoint with a minimalistic, organic-modern sensibility.
