Film as Form

Among its many critical efforts to shape culture, the world-renowned Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) emphasizes the importance of recognizing film as its own art form. To underwrite its initiative to make film more central to the museum’s curatorial programming, LACMA gathers notables from the art, film, fashion, and entertainment industries for the annual LACMA Art + Film gala, hosted by Eva Chou and Leonardo DiCaprio. A design on minimalism kept very simple, the invitation is oversized with barn door flaps and features the letterpress and de-bossed event brand. Within the program, gorgeous black and white portraits of the featured artists complete this museum-worthy campaign.
