For over 25 years, Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks have assembled an all-star, celebrity cast for Simply Shakespeare, a one-night-only improvisational reading of a Shakespeare play benefiting The Shakespeare Center Los Angeles. An array of legendary performers like Martin Short, Christina Applegate, and Paul McCartney, have joined the laugh-out-loud performances. Marc’s creative direction began with the design of a unique invitation concept which over time has evolved into an evocative brand identity. Invitees anticipate receiving the collectible teaser which, through the piece’s annually updated thematic design (Sci-fi Shakespeare, Superhero Shakespeare, etc.), hints at Rita and Tom’s theme for this absurd and outrageous evening. It has become a must attend “evening Bard none.”
